And even though I don't have a lot of love for Eric Clapton, I have always enjoyed his song "Day After Day." Until this morning...when I found out, completely by accident, that it was not an Eric Clapton song. It's a Badfinger song.
Badfinger. You know, as in the Paul McCartney-written "Come and Get It." And the Pete Ham songs you'll recognize when you play them, "No Matter What" and "Baby Blue." (Pete, the lead vocalist and guitarist for Badfinger, also co-wrote the great song "Without You," which has been a hit several times.)
Well, tickle my ass with a feather.
It was quite the revelation for me. The best part of the revelation was that it led me to Spotify, where I listened to a whole bunch of great Badfinger songs. What a great band.
