I was excited to see that Vault Comics was releasing a new issue of Songs For the Dead (Songs For the Dead: Afterlife),but what with this and that (and as a single parent if two autistic adult children there's a lot of this, and no lack of that), I missed getting to The Great Escape for a few weeks, and when I finally got there yesterday, there was neither hide nor hair of the book. So I asked erstwhile manager Krystal if she could order it for me. Bad sign: she'd never heard of the book; but good sign, she found it on her computer and ordered a copy for me. I was a little taken aback at the price--$7.99--but asked her to order it for me anyway.
When I got home, however, I started to wonder if the book would be cheaper on ComiXology. Purely as a matter of curiosity, as I'd never back out of an order I'd requested. Besides which, now that ComiXology has been taken over by Amazon, I'd only order from them if there was no other choice.
