I was recently made aware of the existence of an Edgar Rice Burroughs book of which I'd had no previous hint: Edgar Rice Burroughs Tells All, a collection of his published non-fiction pieces. It's just incidental stuff so far as I can tell (I just got it yesterday evening, and am only 12% of the way through right now), but it definitely has its moments. For one thing, it's a great showcase for ERB's sense of humor.
In one of the pieces, he's talking about how on a movie set he ended up in close proximity to a lion, and then says this:
"While I was reviewing my past life and wishing that I had been a better man...."
Which I find amusing.
And there are quite a few other comments of like ilk.
You can find the book at various places, but the best price is for a Barnes & Noble Nook Book version--a mere $9.99. If you're not one of the seventy three people who purchased a Nook Reader, then Barnes & Noble is still the best choice for price, with a paperback copy going for $20.00--though you'll have to buy something else to get yourself up to the $35 you need to get free shipping. (Although shipping for the book solo is $5.99, and $25.99 is still cheaper than you can find the book on Amazon--$29.95 there--or anywhere else.)
