(1) I like CNN.
(2) I watch CNN for at least a few minutes every day.
(3) I do not like Trump.
(4) I think that Trump is a lying liar, and that's probably the nicest thing I can say about him.
(5) I think that people who condemn CNN, The New York Times, & Others of Like Ilk / Etc. as Fake News are idiots who have not the truth in them.
But that said . . .
Why the fuck is CNN running clips from Saturday Night Live? What place do comedy skits have on a news show?
And what makes this even worse is the smug attitude of the anchors. Just look at those faces:
They are just SO pleased with themselves, y'know? Like babies who are being praised by their mommies for making.
That's not the attitude of a real news anchor.
That's not news.
Not real news, anyway.
In fact, it's kind of fake, isn't it?
Let's see what dictionary.com has to say about this. Hmmmm . . . secondary definition of "fake" . . . granted this is the definition of the verb form, but perhaps it's still fitting to apply to the adjective formulation . . . "to conceal the defects of or make appear more attractive, interesting, valuable, etc., usually in order to deceive." I'm thinking that "funny" qualifies as that which "appear[s] more attractive, interesting, valuable, etc."
So, yeah.
CNN is most assuredly not fake news, so I wish they'd stop doing these fucking fake news stories. And I wish their anchors would stop faking their shit, too.
Think I'm going to see what's going on over on One America News now.
