As for this Strikeforce: Morituri . . . This So-called Strikeforce: Morituri . . . .

I just finished reading Issue #18, and I can't hold back anymore, I've got to . . . got to . . . STRIKEFORCE MORITURI IS ONE OF THE MOST KICK ASS COMIC BOOKS EVER!!! AND PETER B. GILLIS IS A GOD AMONGST COMIC BOOK WRITERS!!!

There, I said it. I have been enjoying . . . even marveling at . . . this comic book from the get-go, but when I hit the ending to issue #17, I was gone, man, solid gone. This comic book takes story-telling chances like I've never seen before. Hell, The Walking Dead characters are safe as milk compared to these Moriturians. And the Other Stuff That I'm Not Going to Talk About is just stunning. I picked the first volume of this thing up on a whim, mostly because it was cheap and I liked the title, but I was sold on it within an issue or two, and now I am just sailing through the rest of the series.

Unfortunately, it looks like the bonzo sale on Comixology is now over, but keep your eyeballs peeled, these things always come around again. Hell, I was chastising myself for not buying volumes 2 and 3 right after I bought volume 1 for $4, and was just about ready to pay the regular price when they went on sale for 99¢ apiece. I somehow doubt that you'll see the like of that again, but I'll bet that you'll be able to beat the $28.50 the three volumes currently sell for via Kindle. Although I've got to say that even at THAT price it'd be well worth it. Both in terms of quality (done said it once) and quantity: over 1,000 pages, so what's that, less than 3¢ a page? Where else could you get that kind of price?
