Just got back from Books-a-Million, and (1) I think somebody who works there must be reading my blog, because a few days ago I made a comment about how their comic book section wis disorganized and the comic books were being mistreated, and today I went in and all the books were organized and some attempt had been made to keep them undamaged...which won't work, because they have the wrong kind of shelving for comic book display, but hey, C- for effort, and (2) they have got a killer sale going on right now, and all of their comic book comic books are being sold for $1 apiece. That goes for new issues that list for $4.99...variant cover issues that list for $7.99...etc. And they have a lot of comic books on those shitty little racks. So come and get your love. They don't just stick to Marvel and DC, either. There's some Archie, Oni, Dark Horse...some other stuff I can't think of right off the bat. I can't imagine that this sale will last long...so get yourself down to Breckenridge Lane if you want a piece of that.
Oh, yeah, they have Boom! books, too. I got this Royal Rumble #1, list price $7.99...for...well, you know what kind of eyes she got.
