Apollo XIII

Watching a History Channel show called Modern Marvels: Apollo 13, and it brings back those heart-rending six days in 1970. Three astonishing facts: the ship was operating on 15 amps of electricity (a dryer draws 11 amps) as it it limped home, (2) the Apollo Control computer had 1/100th the computing power of today's average laptop, & (3) the temperature in the LEM, where the three astronauts huddled together, got down to  38 degrees.

And they made it back home alive.

Talk about a miracle.
