Injustice (2) of the Week

Okay, I tried to just stop talking about it, because even I know (sometimes)that Enough is Enough, but I can't do it this week.

I just read Injustice 2 #11--which just came out a few minutes ago (literally)--and no surprise, it was another great issue, and while it lacked the ha ha element this time around, I didn't miss it (and it didn't belong here--Tom Taylor knows what he's doing). It did have the getting-to-be-par-for-the-course poignant moment that literally sent a chill up my spine. But the reason I had to open my pie hole again was the art. I can't recall seeing the work of this Mike S. Miller before, but I'm going to be going back to look foe shoe, 'cause he is some hotHotHOT shit. Little elements of his work reminded me of John Romita, Jr., but not in any derivative sense at all, just in an ascetic approach way. And I only say that to give a little context. Fuck, man, what I'm saying is GO SPEND 99¢ ON THIS COMIC BOOK and you will be happier than you are right now. Unless you've already purchased it, in which case it probably won't make you any happier to buy it again. Besides which, Comixology won't let you do that. Which I personally appreciate, as (hate to admit it) I have on occasion . . . several occasions . . . accidentally re-purchased comic books. Partially my fault, partially Fucking Alternate Covers. You know how that goes.

Peace out.
