Zselyke Csaky, Trump, and Dangerous Things

Just started listening to a most excellent podcast  & thought this line was quite poignant (and topical and funny 1 ):


"What we call democracy in this country is just a short period during which no one has yet been successful in setting up an autocracy."

It's hard not to see how apropos this is with respect to our current political situation in the USofA, wherein Trump is pushing so hard for autocracy.

 No wonder he and Putin are Shithole Soulmates.



 . . . and scary, of course.
