In Through the Out House

Just finished listening to When Giants Walked the Earth: A Biography of Led Zeppelin.

And on the one
,

it certainly was interesting, and it did make me go back and listen to the band's albums and re-appreciate the music . . . something I haven't done in a very long time. It was really cool to read about the band's early struggles and some of the stories behind the writing of the songs.

But on the other
,

I was appalled (AP-PALLED) at the stories of the band(and its coteries)'s behaviors, which were just depraved at times, and the story of the end of the band was just kind of pathetic. I don't know if I can ever listen to In Through the Out Door again . . . much less Coda.

Although John Paul Jones did come out looking pretty good. So there's that. But the other three fellows? Sheesh, what a bunch of motherfuckers.
