Thoughts on turning half a million.



Half a million.


That's a very big number. 



The number of minutes in a year (give or take a bit).


The number of pounds (more or less) 3,008 average American women weigh.

The amount of buying power in 2017 terms that $64,000 had in 1964.

What a college degree will run you in 18 years according to CNBC.

The cost to buy Link Pearl Island in Nicaragua.

The number of dollars it would cost to hire ten teachers earning average Kentucky pay.

The cost of 8 new  Jaguar convertibles.

And, as of today, the number of page visits on this blog.

Wow.

That beats the fuck out of singing into an empty well.
