Been doing a little cleaning up . . . well, it's really more like an archaeological dig, to be honest . . . and amongst other treasures, I found this bit of writing from Jacqueline:

I realize that this is just normal stupid kid stuff, but what I particularly love about it is how casually and convincingly she lies. For instance: (1) these cats never left the house; (2) we never gave them cat treats (yeah, I know); and (3) they didn't "sleeps" with her.
