I'm still checking out FOX News.
Getting the lay of the land.
And there were some surprises tonight. The subject was President Trump's accusation that Trump Tower was bugged by President Obama. Two of the FOX hosts of The Five lept to President Obama's defense.
Dana Perino said,
"The burden of proof should be on the one who is accusing . . . "
and talked about how ridiculous it was to expect former President Obama to defend himself against an unsupported claim.
And Bob Beckel got so upset that I was a little worried about him. I'm sure his blood pressure was spiking. When one of the other hosts said something about him being "crazy," he responded by saying,
"What's crazy is the president of the United States."
He also said of Trump,
"This guy is a danger, a clear and present danger
. . . . "
And the coup de grâce:
"To slander somebody like Barrack Obama on something like this . . . is just disgraceful . . . !"
Go, Bob!
Unfortunately, Kimberly Guilfoyle, who is so super-de-dooper hot that I put a couple of eggs in front of the tv to hard boil* while I was watching the show, was not on the side of the angels.
Oh well.
You can't have everything.
* They were cooked through in less than a minute.
