" . . . this is a very real potential."

From President Donald J. Trump:

"How low has President Obama gone to tapp my phones during the very sacred election process. This is Nixon/Watergate. Bad (or sick) guy!"
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 4, 2017

First off, Mr. President, you can also spell "tapp" with one "p." Not to imply anything there, just letting you know in case you need that extra character space at some point.

Second off, World, I just want you to know that not all of us voted for Mr. Trump to be president. In fact, most of us actually didn't.

Third off, I was just listening to a bit of news courtesy of MSNBC, and I heard Trump spokeswoman / Principal Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Sanders respond to a question about the source of President Trump's claim reference Obama's "tapp" by saying, "I think he is going off of information that he's seen that has led him to believe that this is a very real potential."

Well, that would be scanned.

And you know, I think that my best friend was going off of information he's seen that led him to believe that there is a very real potential that the earth is flat.

Just sayin'.

And I think it is now officially time to start a Trump Lexicon. Feel free to send in your favorites and I'll add them to the list. The ones uttered by Trump himself will be in bold orange.

Also . . . if you're interested, the wise and wonderful George Lakeoff (whose book Women, Fire, and Dangerous Things has been the secret inspiration for quite a few of my blog post titles) has written an article entitled "Understanding Trump’s Use of Language" which is very interesting and most excellent. You can find it @ georgelakeoff.com August 19, 2016. I think that there is a very real potential that the alternative facts proposed by Lakeoff will affect your consciousness in the same way that 7/11 affected America's, and that, in the words of Two Corinthians, chapter 5, verse 11, "And so it is with the fear of the Lord always in mind that we try to win people over, and so shall we win bigly."
